(More customer reviews)First off, these are very ...unstylish... It wouldn't matter much if it made up for it in quality, but that is not the case.
The first thing I noticed after buying these was that they surround sound isn't very surround sound. All it does is boosts the sound quality a little bit and separates events on the left and right to an extreme. So much that it's uncomfortable to listen to (you can adjust it though, but to really be satisfying, just turn off the surround switch).
After about 3 months of having these, whenever the "surround sound" is on, the wires are extremely sensitive when re-arranged, and messes up the sound REALLY BAD. Could be wear-and-tear, but when I turn off the surround sound switch, all is normal again.
And about 2-3 weeks after having it, the grip in the microphone is gone, so it can be either up or down, nowhere in between or it just slides the rest of the way down. (mic quality is nothing special either)
And last but not least, they are uncomfortable. It can actually be very painful if you wear them for a few hours straight. Its been a few months, and I've gotten used to it and only notice it after many, many hours of wearing them. (I do have a rather large head though, but I don't think it makes much of a difference)
Needless to say, I'm fed up with these and will be buying a new headset very soon.
