I got these to replace my SkullCandy earbuds that finally went out after a few years of every day, nearly nonstop use.Let me tell you, these Auvio things aren't worth the time. While the comfort is fine and they're very straight forward in terms of design, the sound quality is like an old telephone handset's speaker. They apparently are designed for "enhanced bass" and if that's the case, I'd really hate to hear this company's version of non-enhanced bass. The bass is nearly non-existent, and the sound overall is _incredibly_ tin-like and thin.I didn't change any treble or bass settings on my laptop or iPod from my other headphones before disconnecting my SkullCandy headphones and testing these, but the difference was clear, apparent and (to those who love their music to sound good) painful. To get the same sound volume from these Auvio earbuds, I had to turn the volume on my iPod up to nearly maximum, and turn my computer volume up to a level that, on the SkullCandy earbuds, would have been dangerously loud.

These are highly not-recommended.
